No two of us are alike. All of us have likes and dislikes, challenges and strengths. However we are related in that we’re social animals and we stay in a social world. Some of us could totally get pleasure from making social connections and others could view it as a chore or an intrusion into our world.
Children on the Autism spectrum are often extra susceptible to being picked on and extra resistant to acquiring and honing important social abilities. Some children with Autism enjoy being in their own little world and have to be drawn out to be social.
